Offa’s Press

Offa’s Press was set up in 2010 and is dedicated to publishing and promoting contemporary West Midland poetry and poets. It does this through a series of publications and performances where the watchword is ‘good on the page and good on stage’.

Among their best-sellers so far are Jane Seabourne's Bright Morning, The Poetry of Shropshire edited by Jeff Phelps and Simon Fletcher, Dave Reeves' Black Country Dialectics, Emma Purshouse's Close and Kuli Kohli's PatchworkA Wonder Woman, by Kuli Kohli, and the anthology, New Voices, have been selected as Recommended Reading by West Midlands' libraries under the 'Poetry on Loan' scheme, 2023.

It has received some funding from Arts Council England and is run as a co-operative by a number of regional writers and poets with Simon Fletcher the editor/ manager.
