The Wolverhampton Literature Festival will open on 1 November 2023 for submissions for its seventh competition.

The competition will be open to poets aged sixteen and over, from all over the world. Poems can be on any theme, written in English, and no more than 40 lines long.

There are prizes of £400 (1st), £150 (2nd), and three prizes of £25 (3rd). There is an additional prize of £50 for a poem from a Wolverhampton resident.
