White Space: Bloodaxe Archive challenge #2

Young Poets Network has teamed up with Newcastle University to explore the archives of Bloodaxe Books, one of the UK’s leading poetry publishers. This winter, they’re challenging young poets aged up to 25 everywhere to delve into the specially designed digital version of the Bloodaxe Archive and respond creatively to four brand new writing challenges.

In this second challenge, poet Sinéad Morrissey asks maybe the most fundamental question about poetry: what’s the point of all that white space? Show what you think with your creative responses - send a single-stanza poem of up to 20 lines that makes use of white space for your chance to win a slot at the Newcastle Poetry Festival, a stack of Bloodaxe books and more.
