The Wells Festival of Literature’s Young Poets  Competition will be judged by Miriam Nash this year.

• 1st prize: £150
• 2nd prize: £75
• 3rd prize: £50

Open to all those aged 16 – 22 (on 30 June 2019).

The winners will be announced at the prize-giving on Sunday 20 October during the Wells Festival of Literature.  All poets on the shortlist will be invited to read their poems before the prize-giving.

The winner will also receive a year's subscription to the Poetry Society.
