The Wales Young Poets Award is now open for submissions from young poets aged 10-17.

The theme of this year's competition is on 'Peace'. Poems must be previously unpublished and can either be Welsh or English.

Judging will be split into four categories:

English Language 10-13
English Language 14-17
Welsh Language 10-13
Welsh Language 14-17

There will be prizes of £15 (3rd), £30 (2nd), and £50 (1st), alongside National Book Tokens, a writing goodie bag, and publication in a winners anthology edited by former Welsh Children's Laureate Eurig Salisbury.
