Mairtín Crawford Poetry and Short Story Awards 2024

Created in memory of Mairtín Crawford, a writer who remains a significant figure in Northern Ireland's literary community, these awards are aimed at supporting new writing.

Poetry entries should consist of between three and five poems, each of no more than 60 lines. Writers may submit work to both this and the short story category, the only stipulation being that they should not yet have published a full collection of poetry or stories, or a novel.

First: £500 + Time To Write package*
Second: £250
