Living Well Poetry Competition

A poetry competition in aid of Isabel Hospice in Hertfordshire, based on the charity’s ethos of ‘Living Well’.

You can interpret the theme in any way you like and your poem can be in any format.

The winning poem and shortlisted poems will be printed in ‘Living Well Poetry’ book which will be sold in aid of the hospice. The winner and finalists will receive a copy of the book and be invited to read their work at an awards evening in December.

The competition will be judged by Dr Amina Alyal, senior lecturer and creative writing tutor at Leeds Trinity University.

First prize: £100. The winning poem will also be framed and hung in Isabel Hospice’s Living Well Hub.

All shortlisted poems will be published and poets will receive a free copy of the ‘Living Well Poetry’ book.

Award event: Fri 6 Dec 2019 at Isabel Hospice’s Living Well Hub in Welwyn Garden City.

The competition is being organised by Cariad Marketing as part of its 10th anniversary pledge to raise £10,000 for Isabel Hospice.
