Open to science poems written by poets aged between 5 and 16. There are three age categories: 5 to 7 yrs, 8 to 11 yrs, and 12 to 16 yrs. Entries could be inspired by anything - from atoms to Attenborough, chemicals to climate, glaciers to galaxies - and written in any style.

Prizes include
- poetry books & science kits
- reading on stage at the IF Oxford Festival of science & ideas
- being published in a festival anthology
