A worldwide competition, open to all poets unpublished in book format. Poets who have self-published a collection are eligible, provided the poems submitted are not in it.

The prize is 50 copies of a 32-page pamphlet plus a publishing contract for the winner.

Cheltenham Poetry Festival will also provide marketing support, including a headline poet event for the winning poet.

You can send up to 12 poems, each of 50 lines maximum. These may include poems previously published in periodicals or multi-author anthologies.

All submitted poems must be entirely the entrant’s own work in English.

Entrants may submit no more than 3 entries, each requiring the entry fee.
