Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award 2020

The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, now in it's 22nd year is the most prestigious and biggest poetry competition for 11-17 year olds in the world. 

Teachers and parents can enter on behalf of young people, and teachers who enter 25 students or more are entitled to £50 off The Poetry Society's education programme Poet in Schools

Since it began the Award has kick-started the career of some of today’s most exciting new voices. Past winners include Jay Bernard, Sarah Howe, Helen Mort, Phoebe Power, Caroline Bird, Mukahang Limbu, Richard O’Brien and many more incredible poets. 

Everyone who enters will receive a certificate of participation.
