Black in White Poetry Competition

The Black in White Poetry Competition is open for poetry submissions that explore experiences of racism, prejudice, unconscious bias, and microaggressions during childhood and the adult working life.

There are three prizes of £250 (1st), £250 (2nd), and £100 (3rd). All prize-winning poems and up to 25 highly commended entries will be featured in a Black in White anthology to be launched in October 2022 during Black History Month, which participants will receive a complimentary copy of.

Judges: Charlotte Shyllon, Averil Lee, Ivor Etienne, Professor Dawn Edge, Serena Malcolm, and Greg Evaristo
