The National Poetry Library is open with slightly revised hours. Service and space will be limited temporarily while we finish maintenance work. We apologise, but we only have room for five people at a time.

Booking is optional but if you wish to plan ahead please email info@poetrylibrary.org.uk to book a half-day (12—4 or 4—8 pm) or full-day (12—8 pm) slot. Please note onTuesdays from 31st August 2021 we will close at 6 pm until further notice. This is due to early closing of the Royal Festival Hall.

The following services will be available:

- A fetching service run by NPL staff to allow you to access specific items you would like to see. Please email ahead with details of the items so we can have these ready for you.

- Access to NPL vinyl and audio.

- Access to the latest poetry magazines and a range of new books.

- Loan returns and checkouts with the Click & Collect service. If you know which books you wish to loan please email ahead so we can have these ready for you as browsing is not available in the usual way.
