The first Nordic Poetry Festival begins with the opening of an exhibition of Nordic visual poetry, titled I DREAM OF A FOREST, BUT IT'S A PROCESS, featuring new work by Morten Søndergaard, Ragnhildur Johanns, Vilde Valerie Bjerke Torset and Tommi Musturi. They will perform on the night, alongside other visiting Nordic poets Tiina Lehikoinen, Bård Torgersen and more.

The exhibition presents the remarkable innovation and depth in contemporary Nordic literature. From Søndergaard’s world-renowned conceptual public poetry to Musturi’s comic-zine-punk poems, this is a unique chance to see what poetry can be in our time.
