European Poetry Festival: Hungarian Poetry Focus

A celebration of contemporary Hungarian poetry sees three of Hungary’s most inventive contemporary poets come to London to present brand new collaborations with Britain-based counterparts.

Expect new live works in the literary and avant-garde tradition that represent the best of 21st century Hungarian poetry. With new collaborations by Kornelia Deres, Peter Zavada, Andra Simons and Kinga Toth.

The evening will be opened by short solo readings by European poets attending the festival, with performances by Marija Luīze Meļķe, Ferdinand Jonsson, Konstantinos Papacharalampos, Tatiana Faia, Callie Michail and Krišjānis Zeļģis.
