Founded by Merryn Williams in 1996, The Interpreter's House is an independent poetry magazine seeking to platform and provide a welcoming home for the best in new writing. Since June 2018, it has been under the stewardship of Georgi Gill, assisted by Andrew Wells.
Now an online magazine, all content is free and accessible, as are submissions to the magazine. There are three issues a year, in February, June, and October. Reviews and interviews are published on a rolling basis, and the editors are always on the lookout for proposals. They also host the annual Open House Competition, most recently judged by Zaffar Kunial.
