Saltaire Festival invites entries to the 2019 poetry competition to celebrate this year’s Festival theme: Textiles, Technology and Time.

The theme celebrates the industry, heritage and enduring creativity of Saltaire, and the organisers are looking for entries that link Textiles, Technology and Time to the wonderful village of Saltaire.

Anyone is welcome to enter. The winning entries and poets will be featured on the festival website, promoted on social media channels, and featured in the Saltaire Review August/September edition. The winning authors will also be invited to read their poem at one of this year’s festival events, Yarns of Time.

The winners and a guest will also be invited to the official Saltaire Festival Programme Launch at the prestigious 1853 gallery in Saltaire.
