The Pen Nib International Writing Competition features three categories in poetry, essay writing and ‘amuse bouche’ (a short piece for those who might not otherwise enter, which can be illustrated).

Poetry first prize: £150
Essay first prize: £150
'Amuse bouche' first prize: £50

Poems must not exceed 50 lines.

This year’s poetry judge is highly-acclaimed poet Katherine Gallagher.

Other prizes include two nights' gîte accommodation for two for the price of one night's stay, signed original paintings, books and cards, plus further cash prizes.
