Michael Marks International Greek Bicentennial Poetry Pamphlet Prizes

The Michael Marks Awards are now accepting submissions for their Greek Bicentennial Poetry Pamphlet Prize, which invites poets and illustrators to reflect on the culture and history of the Greeks, from ancient to contemporary times, on the occasion of the Bicentennial celebration of the creation of Modern Greece.

Submitted poetry portfolios must be a maximum of 150 lines of poetry in length, and must be clearly inspired by the theme of 'The Greek Bicentennial'.

Prizes:
Poetry Prize - £10,000 and publication of the winning portfolio as a pamphlet, with illustrations and Greek translations by Haris Psarras, distributed internationally
Illustration Prize: £5,000 and publication of the winning illustrations in a pamphlet, alongside the winning poems, distributed internationally
