Kent & Sussex Open Poetry Competition 2022
The Kent & Sussex Poetry Society Open Poetry Competition is now open to all poets aged 16 and over, anywhere in the world.
Poems must be original, unpublished, written in English, and no longer than 40 lines.
Prizes:
1st Prize: £1000
2nd Prize: £300
3rd Prize: £100
4th Prize: 4 x £50
This year’s judge is Richard Skinner, writer and editor of poetry, fiction, life writing, essays and non-fiction. His most recent book of poems is Invisible Sun (Smokestack Books, 2021).
Winning poems will be published on the Kent and Sussex Poetry website, and included in our annual Folio publication.
