Jack Clemo Poetry Competition 2020

The primary aim of the Jack Clemo Poetry Competition is to encourage the writing of better and better poetry and to raise its profile at the forefront of artistic forms.

The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Lockdown’, and participants can address the theme from whichever angle they choose. There is no maximum length, but poems must be a minimum length of 16 lines. Only original works should be submitted, and none which have won other competitions or that have been previously published or broadcast in all forms of media. Up to three poems per person may be entered.

Prizes:
In addition to holding the prize sculpture for one year the winner will receive a prize of £250.
The winning entries will be published on the Art Centre Group's website and the hope is that there will be a celebration event with the prize winners in spring 2021.
