The Welsh Poetry Competition was set up by poet and writer Dave Lewis in 2007. Now in its 15th year it is the biggest poetry contest in Wales.

1st Prize - £500
2nd Prize - £250
3rd Prize - £100

Open to adults and children - the competition has no age limit.

Judge: Kathy Miles, poet and short story writer. Her fourth full collection of poetry, 'Bone House', was published by Indigo Dreams in October 2020, and her pamphlet 'Inside the Animal House' by Rack Press in 2018.
