The Hive Young Writers' Competition is open to young people aged 14 - 30, from or based in Yorkshire and Humber, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Lincolnshire.

The competition is open to poetry, flash fiction, and short stories.

There are three age categories: 14-16, 17-19 and 20-30.

Both individual and group entries are welcome, and entrants can submit up to two pieces of work.
