Frosted Fire Firsts 2021 enables three poets to win publication of their first poetry pamphlet, plus 50 free copies, a headline poetry reading with Cheltenham Poetry Festival and a book launch event.

The contest is open to all poets who have not had a pamphlet or collection published by an independent publisher. A self-published pamphlet or collection does NOT exclude a poet from entering. Entrants should have up to 30 pages of poetry, from which they choose 10 to submit as an entry. Collections can be on any subject or connecting theme. Entry for one of the three prizes is restricted to poets who are aged 25 or less.

Frosted Fire is the publishing arm of Cheltenham Poetry Festival and is dedicated to helping emerging poets achieve prestigous publication through its poetry ezine "wildfire words" and through competitions.
