The Poetry Society's Young Poets Network is partnering with the Japan Institute of Portland Japanese Garden on a new writing challenge for anyone aged 25 or younger worldwide. Poet Seán Hewitt provides writing prompts to help you find a moment for yourself and write about peace.

Selected winners will receive prizes including poetry books and posters, a chance to perform at an international symposium on peace, and publication in an anthology. Entry is free.
