Cupid’s Arrow Poetry Competition

The Hedgehog Poetry Press are looking for poets to send their best love poems - the third annual Cupid's Arrow Poetry Competition asks participants to write a love letter in poetry form, whether that is one that could or would be posted, something that would be written in the sand or perhaps even watched float away as a message in a bottle. This year, the theme is flavoured by the enforced distance of the last year: absent friends, family and lovers - looking at love from a different angle. Poems of up to 40 lines each are accepted.

Prize:
£100 in prize money
500 copies of the poem printed in Artcard form
The winning poem will be submitted by the Hedgehog Press as one of their entries for this years Forward prize.
Additionally, all of the shortlisted poets will be invited to have their poem included in an anthology of Love Poetry to be published later this year, ‘Cupid’s Arrow – Love Letters in the Sand’

Judge:
Mark Davidson, Editor of The Hedgehog Poetry Press.
