The Charles Causley Trust Writer in Residence Programme

The Charles Causley Trust has announced two residency opportunities at Cyprus Well, in Launceston, Cornwall (the poet’s former home owned by the Trust).

These residencies, co-funded by Literature Works, will follow in the footsteps of such writers/poets as Alyson Hallett, Isobel Galleymore, Karen Hayes, Cahal Dallat and the two most recent 2018 Writers In Residence, David Devanny and Jen Hadfield.

The two 2019 residencies, each of 3 months duration and with a stipend payable, are for writers interested in literary links to Charles Causley and Cornwall, as part of a larger, two year project entitled Fuelling the Flame. This project is grant aided by Arts Council England with significant support from Cornwall Council, Launceston Town Council, and the University of Plymouth.
