Canterbury Festival's 15th Poet of the Year Competition is now open for entries, inviting submissions from poets of all levels - from those who have been writing for many years to those who have only recently been inspired to versify.

Prizes:
1st Prize - £200
2nd Prize - £100
3rd Prize - £50
Best-read poem - Bottle of sparkling wine
People's choice - £25
Longlisted poems will be published in an anthology
Shortlisted poets will be invited to read their work at the Awards evening
