This is a two-part competition, entry by email only, all rules and links for entering on Dempsey & Windle's website.

Submissions of 10 poems will be eligible for the Pamphlet Prize: publication of a 36 page pamphlet including 20 copies, plus £100 cash.

Submissions of 1 – 9 poems will be eligible for one of the three prizes in the Single Poem section: 1st prize: £75; 2nd prize: £50; 3rd prize: £25.

All long-listed entrants will receive the competition Anthology in which their poems will be published alongside invited poets.

Judges: Anna Saunders (founder of the Cheltenham Poetry Festival) will read all poems long-listed by Janice and Dónall Dempsey from the anonymous entries and select the winners. Poems can be on any subject, and must be unpublished and no longer than 40 lines including stanza breaks. No simultaneous entries, please.
