This summer, a group of local young people have been invited to take over The White House to create exciting new opportunities for poetry in Barking and Dagenham. They have created X Y Z : an intergenerational zine, workshop, and poetry night.

X Y Z marks the launch of the XYZine, featuring poetry from the community on youthful experiences. Poets featured in the zine are invited to read in the open mic, alongside featured poets.

Everyone who takes part in X Y Z will get a free copy of the XYZine to take home.
