World Poets: William Wordsworth
Lecture by Graham Fawcett on William Wordsworth's life and poetry.
Wordsworth’s record as a poet and man of action until at least his mid-thirties is captivating. At the ages of 20 and 22 he was twice in France as the Revolution unfolded. He was politically active there and fathered a love-child. Before he was 30, he had become half of the driving force and inspiration for the greatest revolution in poetry England has ever known.
