Templar Poetry Live with Laurence O'Dwyer and Oliver Comins

Join Templar Poetry for a glass of wine in the Chester Room at Keats House to celebrate the launch of the first 2018 Templar Straid Collection Award winner alongside a first full-length collection from an established Templar Pamphlet poet.

Laurence O'Dwyer is a scientist who specialises in neuroimaging. His first collection, Tractography, won a 2018 Templar Straid Award. His poems move in and out of surreal, vivid and sometimes disturbing human landscapes, disrupting and transgressing real and imagined memories.

Oliver Comins' first full length collection, Oak Fish Island, draws on work written and published over many years. The poems have quiet humour and insight, "writing about what matters and what will survive".
