Peace Poetry : 21st Century Visions of Peace

Jenny Lewis, Merryn Williams, Pat Winslow, Rip Bulkeley, Paul Surman, Eva Wal and Jalina Mhyana all respond to selected poetry from World War One, with visions of what peace might be.

With music from Patrissia Cuberos. Plus open mic.

 

Jenny Lewis has three poetry collections and two chapbooks with the Iraqi poet Adnan Al-sayegh.

Jalina Mhyana was the founding editor of the literary journal Rock Salt Plum Review, has three poetry collections published and is currently editor for a Tuscan literary journal.

Paul Surman's first collection Places was recently published and his second is on the way.
 

Eva Wal combines poetry with visual and kinetic art and is at the heart of the group of Bonn poets.

Merryn Williams has had four poetry collections published  and was the founding editor of The Interpreters House poetry magazine.

Pat Winslow has produced seven poetry collections and won several awards for poetry and for short fiction.

Louise Larchbourne organises the bi-monthly event Poetry at the Ashmolean and has had poems published in three anthologies and a few online journals.
