NPL Special Edition: Zindabad - Diaspora poetry

Join us for July’s Special Edition, as we welcome Zindabad zine for its first evening showcasing diaspora poets in the National Poetry Library.

The line-up features three up-and-coming poets, Noah Jacob, Oshanti Ahmed and Mukahang Limbu, reflecting on their roots, heritage and third-culturedness – where are you really from, though?

The readings are followed by an open mic session for audience members who wish to share their poetry, with Zindabad giving priority to those writers who are in diaspora.

Slots are assigned on the day, on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring one poem with you and be prepared to provide any content warnings if necessary.
