Let's Discuss Mental Health

This event promotes intergenerational conversation about mental health, empowering people to discuss their perspectives and experiences with each other in a safe and nurturing environment. 

Poetry Prescribed promote poetry as a self healing tool; and an effective way to manage mental health and wellbeing. Hosted by Miss Yankey this workshop promises to be a thought provoking session of reading, speaking, creating and sharing poetry on the subject of mental health. 

There are 10 fully funded places available for young people (16-26) who are on low/no income Please get in touch by email (info@poetryprecribed.com) if you would like to request a free place, or buy a ticket via Eventbrite.

You do not need to be a poet to join! Poetry Prescribed welcome all writing levels- rest assured no previous writing experience is required to participate. They only ask that you come with an open mind, and be willing to explore your own creative potential in a judgement free environment.

 
There will be a food menu available on the night- and Sula cafe are highly rated on both tripadvisor and google reviews so you're guaranteed something yummy!
 

Poetry has the ability to inspire thought, expression, and creativity; it can also promote healing and personal growth.
