Ka Pai: New Zealand Poets in London
Hear readings from three award-winning poets from Aotearoa (New Zealand): Morgan Bach, Nina Powles and Chris Tse.
This is a rare opportunity to hear some of New Zealand's most dynamic new poets reading in London.
Morgan Bach is the author of Some Of Us Eat the Seeds and an editor of the journal Sweet Mammalian. In 2013, Morgan won the Biggs Family Prize in Poetry.
Nina Powles is the author of Girls of the Drift and Luminescent. In 2016 she was awarded the Biggs Family Prize for Poetry for her manuscript of Luminescent. She is poetry editor of The Shanghai Literary Review and was the 2018 winner of the Jane Martin Poetry Prize.
Chris Tse is the author of HE'S SO MASC and How to be Dead in a Year of Snakes, which won the Jessie Mackay Award for Best First Book of Poetry at the 2016 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.
