If you have written a substantial body of poems and you are starting to think about gathering them into a first collection, this course aims to support that process. You'll work through how to select material, give a collection cohesion and a structural arc and how to be ruthless with what you leave out.

The 6-week, online course will look at the editing of individual poems and the balance of the collection as a whole.

Each week you will receive a course tutorial, via email. As well as content to read, there will be links to audio and visual content to bring the material 'off the page'. There will be (optional) tasks, and Live Canon will give written feedback on work you send them.

Live Canon will create an online chat forum for all course participants.
