Celebrating Elaine Feinstein
The Shuffle is delighted to celebrate the work of Elaine Feinstein, the author of many collections of poetry, biographer of Ted Hughes, novelist, short-story writer, playwright, and translator.
A recent critic commented: "Alive to her family origins in the Russian-Jewish diaspora, she developed a close affinity with the Russian poets of this and the last century”.
Hear about Elaine's life in literature and hear her read her poems. Elaine will be joined by friends Fleur Adcock, awarded the Queen’s Medal for poetry, and Martina Evans, who won the Piero Ciampi Prize.
Hosted by Gale Burns and Chris Beckett.
