The Ware Poets 2024 Open Poetry Competition is now open for submissions for poets aged 16 or over.

Poems may be on any subject, must be previously unpublished, and no longer than 50 lines.

There are three cash prizes of £150 (3rd), £300 (2nd), and £600 (1st). A cash prize of £150 will be given to the poet with the best sonnet submitted. Winning and commended poems will be published in our competition anthology.
